FAB Limousine Service originated in March of 1991. With the anticipation of an early retirement after 27 years in the financial industry, Frank A. Bagnoli felt he was too young to exit the work force. With that thought in mind, Frank began to look for a business venture that would be both pleasurable and provide an income. His interest in cars, stemming from his early days in racing and showing cars, led him to consider a limousine service. Having a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing along with his military experience as a chauffeur/dispatcher for high-ranking officers, the limousine service seemed to be his cup of tea!
In the spring of 1991, Frank and wife, Mary, headed for Atlantic City, "The Limo Capital of the World", to purchase a limousine with the intention of using it as a personal luxury car and also as a limousine for hire. The first limousine purchased was a six-passenger black Cadillac which was immediately put into operation as a livery vehicle. When demand increased, his son Mark joined in with the purchase of a larger white stretch Lincoln Limousine. Later, more limousines and two Starfire Coaches were added to make the company the largest in this area.
Then in January 1994, they incorporated as FAB Limousines, Inc. At the same time, Frank's oldest son David, who had been working as an independent contractor, came on as a full time chauffeur. Along with Frank's daughter Lisa, who was enticed to leave a large national chain of discount stores after 14 years of experience, to become the new office manager.
In January 2005, Fab Limousine's Inc. reactivated their Tour division "FAB-U-LE$$ Tours." Additional staff, 2 new 55 passenger motor coaches, and a 30 passenger shuttlebus were added to accommodate customer demand for luxurious trips. These changes made FAB Limousines, Inc. a strong family operated business, truly dedicated to customer satisfaction, complemented by a large staff of professional chauffeurs. Also, the company is noted for its unique fleet of vehicles and professionalism.
In addition, they have ICC and US DOT authority to travel anywhere in the country being fully insured and licensed. FAB Limousines is licensed to service Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Akron-Canton, and Youngstown-Warren airports.
With business steadily growing and more demand for ground transportation, FAB has had to increase its number of employees including a certified mechanic, shop foreman, detailing crew, and more reservationists to handle the demand. FAB keeps abreast of the National Limousine Association (NLA) conventions. Strategic purchases of nationally acclaimed award winning stretch limos SUV Limos, limo buses, sedans and buses each year to keep up with the new technology. Of course, vehicles are not the only priorityadressing the ever tax laws, DOT regulations, insurance requirements, and rapidly changing communications and computer era, are some of their challenges. As each year passes, the continue to expand their market place develop a satisfied and dedicated customer base.
Frank has since retired in 2003 leaving Lisa as President and Mark as Vice President, FAB’s latest venture is to provide their customers transportation needs with another service called Chauffers4Hire.com.
